At this year’s Consumers Electronic Show, Las Vegas, two handset makers, Nokia and HTC, announced two Windows phones: Nokia Lumia 900 and HTC Titan II. One is considered one of the best Windows smartphones; the other is undoubtedly the biggest Windows based handset. In this article we will be comparing both the handset one against another and find out which one is and should be crowned as a better handset.

We will start the comparison with the CPU and RAM, the Nokia Lumia 900 has a single core 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor, the chipset is Qualcomm APQ8055 Snapdragon. On the other hand the HTC Titan II has a 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor and the chipset being Qualcomm S2 Snapdragon. Nokia Lumia 900 sports a 512 MB RAM and the HTC Titan II has the same to offer. The HTC Titan II seems to be winning in this segment.

Next comes the section of storage where the Nokia Lumia 900 has a 16GB storage capacity with no card expansion facility. But the SkyDrive cloud storage is there to compensate for the nonexistent humongous storage capacity. The HTC Titan II has a 16 GB all flash memory with no expansion via card. Both the handsets seem to be at the same pedestal in the segment.

If the batteries of the handsets are to be compared then the Titan II has a Standard Li-Ion 1730 mAh battery while the Nokia Lumia 900 has a standard 1830 mAh battery. No need to say that the Lumia 900 wins again.

Then comes the number of Camera, the Lumia 900 sports an 8MP rear camera which happens to be an autofocus one and has Dual LED flash. The other gadget sweeps this round with a complete land slide as it sports a massive 16 MP autofocus rear camera with Dual-LED flash. Both the handsets have 1.3 MP front cameras.

In the data segment both the handsets have EDGE, GPRS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, USB 2.0. But with features like NFC the HTC Titan II seems to have a slight edge over the 900.

Other features like sensors, social networking, Browser (HTML5), Radio, GPS, Active noise cancellation are the same in both the handsets.

Either of the handsets, at times, seems to be scoring over the other. But one thing is worth noting that Lumia 900 has the repute of Nokia to back itself and it has better quality hardware coordination. Angry Birds Space Lifts Off on March 22

After conquering the world of mobile devices and social networking sites, Rovio Mobile’s popular game Angry Birds is going to take over the Space. The new game, Angry Birds Space will blast off with NASA for the ride on March 22.

The video teaser of the Angry Birds Space released on February 17 had a Neil Armstrong-inspired slogan, “One small fling for a bird, one quantum leap for birdkind.”

Rovio has grand plans for the launch of the new game. The company’s blog says, “Angry Birds Space game launch will be the biggest since original Angry Birds. It’s a completely new game with innovative new gameplay, but with some familiar Angry Birds elements that fans already know and love.”

It is said that the new Angry Birds Space will feature zero gravity levels and slow motion puzzles. Graphic on the new game’s website shows a slingshot places on the moon. New birds will be introduced in the game, while some of the birds from earlier games with “super powers” will also be seen in the game.

App Data, the analytics site claims Angry Birds to already have 3,40,000 daily active users. The new game will definitely add on-to the popularity of the game.
