Nokia has announced the firmware update for its flagship Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 800, with an intension to fix the battery issues. The early adopters of the smartphone have reported issues with battery
charging status display on the device. Nokia detected that the problem was with
the software, which limited the smartphone’s ability to access
the full battery capacity. As promised, the Finnish phone maker has come up
with a resolution, releasing a firmware upgrade.
Along
with resolving the power management issues, the upgrade SW 1600.2483.8106.11500
is expected to deliver improved Wi-Fi connectivity, better voice mail
notification, and improved Local Scout. Nokia will push the updates to the
users through the Zune desktop software.
