Motorola has unveiled two Android devices, Motoluxe & Motorola Defy Mini, both running on Gingerbread OS.
Motorola Defy Mini, an addition to Defy range is a water & dust resistant phone with 3.2 inch touchscreen. Here are some of the features of Defy Mini:
- Corning Gorilla Glass display
- Operating System – Gingerbread 2.3.6
- 600MHz processor
- 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, and 32GB expandable memory
- Dualband 3G support
- Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and DLNA
- GPS
- 3MP primary camera capable of recording videos @30fps & secondary VGA camera
- 1650mAh battery with 10 hours of talktime & 21 days of standby time
Motoluxe on the other hand is a sleek, 4 inch touchscreen phone with features such as :
- 8MP autofocus primary camera, VGA secondary camera, LED flash
- Operating System – Gingerbread 2.3.7
- 800MHz processor
- 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM
- Wi-Fi, DLNA
- 1400mAh battery with 6 hours 30 minutes of talktime & 19 days of standby time
Both the phones have Motorola’s Moto Switch UI & Social Graph, Activity Graph, and Smart Gallery features. Motorola will first start shipping the phones in February in Latin America, Europe, Greater China but Motoluxe is already available in China with the name Motorola XT615. Both the smartphones will arrive in India in the second half of the area & you might have to shell out Rs.13,500 (approx) for Defy Mini and Rs.18,000 (approx) for Motoluxe. Consumers can get their hands on Motoluxe & Motorola Defy Mini at the 2012 International CES between January 10-13.
