The Finnish handset maker Nokia has announced on this Monday the release of the next Asha series handset, the Nokia Asha 303. This mobile will hit the market with a price tag of INR 8899. Nokia in collaboration with the British service provider Vodaphone will try to attract the users through attractive data offers.
As far as the handset is concerned, it looks to be a good thing from the very outset. It is a QWERTY and touch handset of 2.6 inches, which runs Symbian Series 40 operating system.
As far as the processing capacity of the handset is concerned it has a 1GHz processor that is seconded by a 128MB RAM. And in the storage capacity, the handset sports a 170MB of space. As far as the memory expansion is concerned the handset offers you a 32GB expansion via microSD card. The eye catching factor in this handset is the 1300 mAh battery, which is capable of giving the user a talk time of 8 hours and 10 minutes. It gives a huge standby time of 30 days.
Talking about the display of the Nokia Asha 303, it has a TFT capacitive screen, which supports 256k colors and the pixel resolution is 320x240 that makes the ppi 154. It has a 3.2 MP fixed focus camera but there is no secondary camera on offer.
In the data and connectivity segment, it offers EDGE class 32 and GPRS class 33, HSDPA & HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, and USB 2.0. For super fast connectivity it has the latest 3.5G.
For the net buffs, it has flash support and for those who relish social networking it has pre-loaded Facebook, Twitter, and Orkut clients. It too has push mail with attachments. One thing that will please the ears the most is that it has support for Internet calls (VoIP).
It is not sure that how well the Nokia Asha will fare in the market; but one thing is pretty conspicuous that it is worth for your money and will not let your expectation down.
