Android Market renamed - Google Play is the new Avatar

Google has renamed its applications store, Android Market, as Google Play. So, Google Play will be the new home for Android applications. Google Play will offer a complete cloud-based service besides applications such as games, movies, songs and books. 

Google Play has even swallowed up Google Music and the Google eBookstore. One can get every content bit that Google sells or rents out under the same roof of Google Play. 

The Android Market on Android devices will be automatically upgraded to receive the new branding.
