Karbonn to Come up With the First Jelly Bean Handset in India

Karbonn might not be a world player in mobile handsets but it is a force to reckon with in the domestic market; and the statement gets corroborated by the fact that the company is going to launch its and the country’s first Android Jelly Bean handset.

A new samrtphone brand of Karbonn, Karbonn Smart, will be launched with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean onboard in the month of August. The handset will be known to the world as Karbonn A24 and will be priced around 13K mark, which for a phone like this is a very-very attractive price. Let me take you to a tour to the interiors of the Karbonn A24.

The phone is going to be a phablet, I don’t need to say that phablet is a hybrid between tablet and phone because all the readers know that by heart. The handset will be sporting a 4.5 inch qHD screen with a pixel resolution of 960x540p, which, by all means, is a superb spec in today’s time.

Moving forward, the handset will be having a 1.2GHz dual core processor to help the big handset perform tasks with lightening fast speed. It is also conjectured that the handset will be sporting an 8MP photo snapper on the posterior and a front facing camera as well.
And yes, Karbonn A24 will have the regular features like 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. There will a plethora of sensors to make the mobile more attractive and useful. No words have come out on the features like memory, storage, and battery.

The Jelly Bean is the latest offering of Android, which, at the present moment, can only be found on Google’s Nexus 7Tablet. Readers should know that the Company is also going to launch a Jelly Bean tablet in the foreseeable future, and a flurry of ISC 4.0 handsets. Let’s see what happens.
